ROBOTICS & ANIMATION LAB
Integrating robotics and animation into our curriculum fulfils the need of present-day learning environments where our future leaders need to be technologically sound and can enhance their skills including creativity, innovation, cooperation, team work and self-confidence. G.OUTDOOR PLAY AREA- Panchatantra Park The very idea of including play, in required ratio with the academics, fulfills the prime objective of enriching students with creativity and thinking skills. H.SPORTS ARENA We allow students to explore different environments by providing them playfields and facilities for basketball, Cricket, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Tennis etc. ACTIVITY ROOMS The Activity Rooms at our premises are magical jukeboxes that spur every child into action. Equipped with a wide range of performing arts, our spacious activity rooms are fit for every session - be it dance, music or yoga.
MARTIAL ARTS
At Avn, we cover a broad range of activities that involve fighting techniques, physical exercises, and methods of mental discipline, among other skills. Martial arts originated in the ancient cultures of Asia, and are used today around the world for self-defence, exercise, health, spiritual growth, law enforcement, and athletic competition.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Communication skills encompass far more than simple verbal and non-verbal communication, even in a wide range of circumstances. Effective communication skills are fundamental to success in many aspects of life. Therefore, at Avn we focus on effective communication as it a key interpersonal skill and one can learn how to improve their communication.
SOCIAL SCIENCE LAB
Social studies is the integrated study of social sciences and humanities to promote civic competence. Within the school program, social studies provide coordinated, systematic study drawing upon such disciplines as anthropology, archaeology, economics, geography, history, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, religion, and sociology, as well as appropriate content from the humanities, mathematics, and natural sciences. The primary purpose of social studies is to help young people develop the ability to make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world."
SPORTS
Sport is a physical activity and a kind of a physical exercise. It also has many physical and psychological advantages on the participants. It also results in a better physical stamina and improved reflexes along with other advantages. At Avn, we have outdoor sports like basketball, cricket, Tennis, Volleyball, Mini Football etc and indoor games like chess, carom and table tennis.
YOGA
Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Yoga brings that marvellous inner light that all children have to the surface
DANCE
Dance is more than the exploring of different ways to make a shape or learning a series of steps to music; it is a way of moving that uses the body as an instrument of expression and communication. Through dance, students learn teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills. Dance awakens new perceptions in children which help them learn and think in new ways.
MUSIC
Music is emotional. Music is an art form. We are emotional beings and every child requires an artistic outlet. Music may be your child’s vehicle of expression.
Music is for life. Most people can’t play soccer, or football at 70 or 80 years of age but they can sing. And they can play piano or some other instrument. Therefore, music is a gift you can give your child that will last their entire lives.
PANCHATANTHRA PARK
The Panchatantra park is a themed based park on the morals of Panchatantra- one of India`s greatest contributions to the art of storytelling. Children can learn the morals of Panchatantra from interactive exhibits like sculptures and storyboards which would narrate related stories through audio speakers on a click of a button. There is also a play area for the children. The park is adjacent to the school building and it is exclusively for the school students during school hours and not for the general public.
